Solving Linear Systems by Graphing

You will be given a system of linear equations to solve by graphing. You should use the Desmos calculator below to graph, but make sure to note which variable will be your \(x\) and which variable will be your \(y\).

For example, you may have to graph the equation \(l=2w+1\). In which case, you would need to type \(y=2x+1\) into Desmos and remember that your \(y\) stands for \(l\) in this problem and your \(x\) stands for \(w\).

INFINITE or NO SOLUTION: Type "no" to get the "∅" symbol for no solution. Type "inf" to get the "∞" symbol for infinite solutions.

DECIMAL ANSWERS: Decimal answers should be rounded to three decimal places where necessary or written as fractions in lowest terms. For example, you should write \(x=\frac{11}{3}\) as 3.667 or as 11/3.
